No Mom Alone

Mothers are critical to building character, values, and disciplines that support healthy societies

The vision of MOPS International is to see No Mom Alone -- especially at a time in their lives when depression, isolation, and loneliness challenge them emotionally during what can be very trying times.

It's these early years in life that lay the foundations for a child's development, and if these times are traumatic the end result often isn't good for the child, the mom, the family, or the culture.

Moms say they grow in body, mind, soul and spirit as part of MOPS groups. They grow as women and moms, and in all of the spheres they influence — family, community and the world.

More than 4,000 MOPS groups are chartered through local churches nationwide and include groups for moms of children under 5 years old, moms of school age children, teen moms and military moms. These are groups you can help support in outreach and ministry.

During 2008-09 MOPS impacted the lives of more than 100,000 moms around the world. Approximately 5,000 moms began a relationship with Jesus Christ and 99% of moms in MOPS said they grew spiritually. And that is just part of the story.
