Lemstone and Above the Treeline
Form Partnership

From Aspiring Retail, July 2005

LEMSTONE AND ABOVE THE TREELINE Announced an alliance to implement Above the Treeline services in 30 Lemstone stores. Above the Treeline was piloted in June in five Lemstone stores, providing “excellent results.”

“John Rubin and his team at Above the Treeline have created an excellent solution for Christian retailers,” said Lemstone President Scott Macdonald.

“We’ve worked closely with them to tailor and test the solution in our stores and are very pleased with the results. Part of the tailoring has been integrating Above the Treeline with our operational and management reporting system, which combines inventory information with financial information. This combined offering will help our stores increase inventory turns, manage cash flow, and maximize sales, and do so within the framework of their business plans.”

Above the Treeline CEO John Rubin said the partnership “provides us with even better data to enable other Above the Treeline clients and our vendor partners as we endeavor to help independents be ‘independent, but no longer alone.’”

“This is a great development for all Above the Treeline users,” said CBA Business Solutions Director Dean Edwards. “More users means better data and decisions for everyone. CBA is honored to have helped introduce and improve this important business solution, and thrilled to see greater usage in the Christian Retail Channel.”
