Partnering with Christian Stores and Making a Difference

In recent years, we have worked together with our members to provide channel exclusives that will increase consumer awareness of Christian retail and drive traffic to stores. The following offers a brief overview of recent CBA Channel Exclusives and the impact seen within the Christian Retail Channel.


Campaign Financial Aid: 2009 Q1

From foreclosures to the struggling stock market, thousands of families in your community are facing financial fears and hardships like they’ve not experienced before. Imagine coming alongside them, offering them resources to help them think through their financial hardships from a biblical perspective, and giving them hope amidst these struggles in the One true provider.

CBA, Focus on the Family, Salem Radio, and Tyndale House Publishers partnered together to provide retailers with the tools to reach customers with this timely resource and draw more traffic into the store. Campaign Financial Aid was a Christian retail-exclusive initiative to provide consumers with Biblical Financial Help through their local Christian retail store. The goal of selling 100,000 units into Christian retail between January 15 and April 15 was more than surpassed as a result of leveraging the size and breadth of CBA Christian retailers. More than 150,000 units have been sold through June 2009.

Operation Worship: 2008 Q3

The Operation Worship campaign started with a desire to encourage our deployed soldiers with the Word, while also providing an opportunity for consumers to get involved in showing their support. CBA took the vision from the Tyndale team and proposed a complete strategy, including media support, marketing tools, and an online presence, to drive the campaign to consumers through Christian stores. In doing so, Christian stores were provided with the tools to promote the campaign and provide a ministry opportunity for their customers. In utilizing the vast depth and breadth of Christian retailers accessible through partnership with CBA, this initiative was promoted through the channel that reaches approximately 14 million consumers.

The initial goal of 100,000 Bibles was reached in approximately six weeks. Within the 90-day time frame, more than 200,000 Bibles were sold. To date, more than 300,000 Bibles (and counting!) have been purchased for deployed soldiers serving our Country.
